It’s Showtime! Get your dancer ready in their costume, tights & make-up and we will see you at the shows! It will be a magical weekend for our ID families! Arrival Tips: Plan to arrive at the facility 15-20 minutes early and be dressed and ready in your 1st costume. Allow extra time for parking and walking in. Upon arriving, one parent and their dancer should enter through the front doors of the school & proceed to their dressing room. The rest of your party should line-up & wait to enter once the doors open. IMPORTANT: Please do not leave any personal belongings unattended. Be sure to locate your Recital Handbook document for FULL details! This document is available in your DSPro account and in your monthly emails.

Admission: $20 per person, per show time *** Please read wristband details before purchasing! *** (Wristband sales will CLOSE at 11:59pm on June 7th and will not be available for purchase at the door.) Max number of tickets per show time, per dance family ​Morning Recitals: 6 Afternoon Recitals: 6 Evening Recitals: 6 Please do not purchase more than the max number allowed. Wristbands over the maximum amount will not be honored. Dancers participating in any of our recitals DO NOT require a wristband. Anyone in the audience during ANY showtime WILL require a wristband for that specific showtime. Dancers who have siblings dancing in another show will be given a wristband (free of charge) to sit in the audience and watch, however they will count towards your attendee number for each show. This band can only be used by dancers. Families who would need to attend more than 1 “recital” (Ex: dancer(s) in afternoon recitals & evening recitals) - you will receive additional information via email from us. Be on the lookout for that soon! We do not charge for children under 3 years old to attend the recital, unless they will be occupying their own seat. We also ask that you consider our dancers and other audience members when bringing young children to watch, and if they become loud, distressed or disturb any other audience members, please take them outside to let off a bit of steam before returning to enjoy the rest of the show. Each recital showtime will have a different color wristband. Make sure to purchase the correct showtime wristband(s). (see page 3 of your recital handbook) Last day to purchase wristbands is June 7th. If any showtimes still have seats available after June 7, wristband sales will open back up on June 10 & 11 for anyone to purchase additional seats. First come, first served basis. This year OK VIDEO will be capturing our shows! We are so excited to offer this amazing keepsake! Details: Each of the three recital videos (Morning, Afternoon & Evening) is sold separately. We can’t wait to see all of our amazing dancers dressed up and performing on stage at our 2024 Recitals, as well as at Picture Day, May 11th! Be sure to check the Costume Info Sheet that came home with your child's costumes to ensure you have ALL the things you need. Tights can be purchased at the ID Front Desk. In-stock supplies are limited. Please purchase all necessary items prior to picture day, May 11th.

Individual Portrait Photography will be provided by our friends at Ashley Harrison Photography. Individual photos are optional and ordered through the photographer. Q: How do I purchase recital wristbands? A: Wristbands must be purchased online starting 5/27. www.illuminationdance.com/shop Q: Is there a limit of how many wristbands I can buy? A: Yes - 6 per SHOWTIME Q: When will my wristband order be ready for pickup? A: At DRESS REHEARSAL - please bring your order confirmation with you. Q: Can wristbands be returned or exchanged? A: No, all sales are final. Q: What if I lose a wristband before the show? A: You would need to purchase another wristband to gain entry into the show. Q: Do I need to purchase admission for my dancer? A: No, they are the performers! Q: Is there assigned seating? A: No, seating is first come, first served. There will be no reserved seating prior to any show. Q: My child is in the morning recital showtimes of 10am & 11:30am. Are both of these showtimes IDENTICAL shows? A: Yes! Your child will get to show off their hard work twice! Q: Do I have to purchase wristbands to BOTH of my child’s recital showtimes? Ex: Morning Recital is at 10am and 11:30am. A: If you are planning to sit in the audience for each showtime, yes. Wristbands will be specific for EACH showtime and you will only be allowed in if you have that specific wristband. Q: Can I be in the dressing room for one of my child’s showtimes? A: Yes, female family members are permitted in the dressing room. No wristband would be needed for this showtime if you’re staying in the dressing room the whole time. Ex: I’m planning to watch the 10am show so I would purchase a band for that showtime but I am going to stay in the dressing room for the 11:30am show, so I do not need a band for that one. This also frees up a seat for another family member to attend and watch the recital. Q: I have children dancing in more than 1 “recital” ex: Afternoon & Evening Recitals. Do I have to purchase wristbands for each? A: Wristbands must be purchased for any showtime you are planning to be in the audience, however we will be sending you additional details about this. Please look for that in your emails very soon! Q: Should I purchase wristbands for my extended family/friends? A: Yes, they will NOT be able to come to the studio to pick them up, so you should order all the wristbands you need, pick them up at dress rehearsal and distribute them to your attendees. Q: Do I have to attend dress rehearsal? A: YES! It is VERY important to be at dress rehearsal. Q: Do I have to wear makeup? A: Yes! The stage lights totally wash out the dancers, so they need to wear makeup to help enhance and bring out their natural features. Q: When do I get my Recital/Finale Shirt? A: At dress rehearsal or in class if they are available sooner. Parents: Please locate FULL recital related details in your Recital Handbooks!
